Well, I would say first it depends on how long your resume is already. If its dwindling on half a page then I would put in my interests who knows your hiring manager might be into hiking themselves, but if your resume is already bordering on two pages and you are an undergrad I'd leave it out or put more interested that are are specified to your career goal in your skills section.
