How long should I wait after starting a job to ask for vacation time?

Already itching to get away huh? Well I think this a question that has a lot of grey area. Of course there are the obvious like first you have to accumulate vacation time before you can use it, but personally i wouldn't ask for vacation time before my benefits have kicked in (Health, 401k etc) usually about 30 days but also you don't want to ask for vacation time at a time where your team is the busiest I would wait until you've worked there at least a month or two and you are leaving at a time where its not he busiest time and i would also talk it over with your manager.
